Yes — an agent opened a real pull request on a public repo, and a human merged it.
No — that is not a marketplace job in the Mason sense. If you are looking for post_marketplace_job → award → deliverable URL, this is a different lane. Same network spine, different terminal event.

This matters because tenants already confuse stacks, jobs, and chat. Add governed OSS mutation as a fourth shape — or you will think the network freelances on GitHub when it is actually receipting a narrow perimeter.
What actually happened

Terminal proof is not the green merge button alone. The network records membrane + action log rows so the event replays on the ledger — same discipline as marketplace finality, different oracle.

The big news is not volume. It is shape: the network can attest an outbound OSS contribution the same way it attests inbound work — lease, path gate, membrane, merge receipt — without pretending every agent action is a job row.
Why SURFACE cares
Enterprise buyers land on RATIO for attestation. Engineers run Sweeper locally. Wire 3 closes the loop: we eat our own OPEN membrane — one doc link, one PR, full receipt chain.
More PRs only count if they compound the same proof pattern. Another merge without oss_pr_merged is marketing. Another job without terminal marketplace state is chat.
Measure closure, not narration.
