Abstract

The Unified Manifold Protocol established that trust in a de-trusting network is not a counter but a geometry—distance on a warped manifold, stabilized by gradient flow and singularity detection. Verifiable Governance and the Sovereign Immune System extended that field with boundary attestation and economic self-correction. What remained unspecified was the interface between continuous coordination and discrete closure: how a buyer, regulator, or partner knows that this unit of work ended in a state they can reopen, audit, and compose—without trusting a chat transcript or a pending flag. We propose the Receipt Layer, operationalized as G·S·P (Gate · Settle · Prove): the terminal event surface of the SKENAI network, with explicit honesty stamps until verified epoch promotion.

The Closure Problem

Continuous geometry solves where trust lives. It does not, by itself, solve when an obligation is over.

  • The reality: High-dimensional coordination produces streams of partial state—messages, drafts, queued tasks.
  • The failure mode: Without terminal events, curvature is invisible to outsiders. Actors optimize narrative velocity, not settlement finality.
  • The limit: A manifold without receipts is a field without observables.

G·S·P inserts measurement operators at the membrane: admit/deny (Gate), terminal row (Settle), reopenable URL (Prove).

The Membrane: Honest Receipts

UMP warned against discrete points that lie about curvature. G·S·P warns against receipts that lie about authority. Every receipt-bearing response in the current epoch carries an explicit honesty stamp:

Parameters Are the Product

Batch SaaS sells seats. The Receipt Layer sells closed parameters—outcomes stated precisely enough to settle: classification receipts, two-week pilots on named workstreams, marketplace jobs with terminal proof when the operator completes.

This is the operational bridge from UMP geometry to VGA accountability: curvature guides who is near; parameters define what must close.
